Project Manager & Editor Role

About the role:

Reporting directly to the CEO and working in collaboration with the Operations Manager, your role will span the end-to-end awards journey for our clients. This will involve communicating with the client to develop their story, gathering vital information, project managing the entry process with our designated writer, and editing the final entries before uploading to the relevant awards systems.

You will predominantly be based in our Haywards Heath office, supporting both our office-based and remote team members. However, some flexibility is possible for the right candidate. The working environment will be adapted as necessary according to Covid-19 requirements.

Role requirements:

A minimum of three years experience in either Marketing or PR account management is a must, and if you have experience of the awards industry (or have even won an award or two) that’s a real bonus!

You will also be an eagle-eyed editor with a warm and friendly approach to supporting our team to deliver world-class award entries and presentations. Your constructive editing, feedback, and quality control will be required for all projects including client’s face-to-face awards presentations. So your skills will need to include editing in Google Drive, Word and PowerPoint.

And to top it off, you will have a friendly, confident and inquisitive personality that enables you to undertake and manage effective client interviews and to support our clients to provide all the information we need for their projects within the given time-frames.

Essential:

  • Three years minimum experience in a relevant industry or role
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong editing skills
  • Strong interviewing skills

Other attributes:

  • Confident communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Genuine team player
  • Willingness to learn

Job Type: Part-Time Employed

Salary: £15k (20 hours per week)
