Business Awards

By Donna O’Toole

Monday 12 April 2021 will go down as the day when – finally – a degree of ‘normality’ has returned to these shores following the first significant easing of our national lockdown. It has meant that a huge number of UK businesses have been able to re-open to the public and start to benefit from much-needed revenue streams.

This really is a significant landmark in our recent history, following months of uncertainty and upheaval for business owners across the country. Simply surviving and getting through this challenging period has been the priority for most people, who have been working tirelessly to get to this window of opportunity. After all the hardship, trials and tribulations since late-2020, it is now time for the business community to thrive.

To celebrate this ‘new beginning’, and to recognise the extraordinary work that has been undertaken by countless business leaders in a range of retail-related sectors, we have hand-picked a selection of relevant awards that are currently open for entries.

BUSINESS AWARDS OPEN NOW:

THE RETAIL INDUSTRY AWARDS
These long-running retail awards are now in their 26th year of operation, and offer all kinds of businesses the chance to be recognised for their efforts across four distinct category types:

Independent Categories – for independent convenience retailers operating up to 10 stores.
Multiple Categories – open to grocery retailers with more than 10 stores.
Company-Owned Categories – for individual stores belonging to a group with more than 10 company-owned, managed stores.
Symbol / Franchise Categories – open to symbol, fascia and franchise groups operating within the UK convenience store market.

Showcase what you’ve achieved in the UK grocery retail sector – whether you’re a largest supermarket or small independent stores – in everything from the best use of new technology to local community engagement. What’s more, all of the awards are FREE to enter.

EMPOWERING GIRLS IN THE UK

We have recently partnered with The Girls’ Network to offer our support to this extremely worthy cause.

Each time one of our clients wins an award, we will celebrate their success by making a donation to The Girls’ Network, which supports over 1,000 girls aged 14-19 each year across the UK to reach their potential.

By supporting this initiative with our Who Wins When You Win campaign, we are helping to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them to a mentor and a network of professional female role models.

If you want to recognise your success by winning awards and supporting The Girls’ Network, contact us today.

It’s time to stop waiting, and start winning!
